ProcessorWatch publishes analyst opinion and merchant-experience commentary about the payment processing industry. If you are a company, executive, merchant, or authorized representative and you believe a factual statement on the Site is inaccurate — or you wish to add context — this policy describes how to reach us and what we will do.
What you can request
- Correction. Point us to the specific statement and provide the accurate information with supporting evidence.
- Right of reply / rebuttal. Submit a concise written response we will consider publishing alongside the original content.
- Removal. Ask us to remove content that is unlawful, materially inaccurate, or that references you personally without adequate public-interest justification.
- Update of ownership or corporate structure. Ask us to update parent-company, brand, or contact information.
What to include
- The exact URL and the specific sentence or claim at issue.
- Your name, title, and organization (and authority to speak for the organization, if applicable).
- The correction you propose and any supporting documentation.
- Contact information for follow-up.
How we handle requests
- We acknowledge receipt.
- Our editorial team reviews the request against source materials.
- We publish a correction, add a rebuttal, update the entry, or explain why we decline. We target a response within ten (10) business days.
- Where appropriate, we mark corrections visibly on the page.
Good-faith limits
Editorial commentary that is fairly characterized as opinion, or that is based on public information properly sourced, is generally not subject to removal on the basis of disagreement alone. We evaluate factual accuracy seriously and independently.
