Trademark & Nominative Use Notice

Last updated: July 2026

ProcessorWatch publishes editorial commentary on the payment processing industry. Many companies, products, brands, and card networks are discussed by name. This notice explains our position on the use of third-party trademarks.

Trademark ownership

All company names, product names, brand names, service marks, logos, and trademarks referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners. Reference to any third-party mark is made solely for identification and commentary and does not constitute or imply any endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, partnership, or approval by the mark owner.

Nominative fair use

Our use of third-party marks is a nominative fair use — we use the mark because it is the only reasonably available way to identify the company, product, or service being discussed. We use no more of the mark than necessary and do not suggest sponsorship or endorsement.

Our marks

"ProcessorWatch," the ProcessorWatch clock-and-card logo, "Paynetic Technologies," and "Nationwide Payments" are trademarks of their respective owners. All rights reserved.

Trademark complaints

If you are a trademark owner who believes your mark is being used on the Site in a way that is not covered by nominative fair use or that creates a likelihood of confusion, please contact legal@processorwatch.com with (a) identification of the mark, (b) proof of ownership, (c) the URL of the alleged misuse, and (d) a description of the concern.
